I accidentally revoked the access for a recipient. How can I restore it

I have set the expiration time as 2 hours in my Encryption policy. However, the recipients say that the email expires after just 1 hour.
End-Users
I have set the expiration period as 4 hours. However the recipient is unable to view the email right from the time they received it.
I have not configured any Encryption settings on the email. However, the recipients see that the email has an expiration time period.
I set the expiration time as 2 days. However, the recipient said that they were on vacation for those 2 days and is now requesting access to the expired Email.
